Got to play with new technology and discuss new integrated research ideas. Our IU travel group consisted of Beth Plale, Tom Evans, Inna Kouper, Kurt Waldman, and Shaz.

I photographed this bristlecone pine tree (one of my favorites) while hiking in Bryce National Park, Utah over the new year. The wind and erosion have left exposed roots.
